Release Policy
We only release healthy, well trained and conditioned, banded white homing pigeons also known as Rock Doves.
Our birds will not be released indoors, too late in the day to return home safely
or in inclement weather
(excessive wind or heat, unhealthy air conditions, rain or snow).
We do not ship birds for self-release and our birds are only flown from distances for which they are conditioned.
*During the summer when we can expect triple digit temperatures and to avoid cancellations, we will only schedule morning releases.
All these things are taken into consideration for the safety of these special birds.
And I'm sure you'd want to feel secure in that knowledge after they put on a fabulous display for your special event!
If your release is canceled for any unforeseen condition, all monies will be refunded.
Our dove handler will be knowledgeable about releases,
always on time and appropriately dressed.

Weddings large or intimate are easily accommodated in an elegant and unique setting at the Miners Foundry. The Foundry has been the location for hundreds of ceremonies and receptions, each representing the distinctive style and personality of the couple.

PRICES ~
Memorial Services start at $200 for a 10 dove release within 20 miles of our home in Colfax. We travel up to 50 miles so additional is charged for mileage past that. Call for a quote!
A 20 dove release for a wedding is $300 within the 20 mile range. There is an extra charge for mileage past that.
